If you need a project turned around quickly, please provide a heads-up so I can reserve time and ensure a smooth delivery. However, in most cases, I can deliver the same day or next, depending on the scope of the project.

What does your QA process cover?

  • I ensure capitalization consistency with your brand style and editorial conventions (title case vs. sentence case, proper nouns, branded terms, and feature and product names). And I verify that headers, product names, and UI elements follow approved capitalization rules.

  • I confirm all legal and compliance language appears as required and in the correct order and placement. I also check text formatting (superscripts, numbering, footnote alignment) and accuracy of citations and attributions.

  • I assess sentence structure and flow for readability and logic, identifying redundancy, jargon, and ambiguity, and suggest clear, audience-appropriate alternatives.

  • I verify that all internal references (page numbers, figure/table labels, and section names) are correct, consistent, and active if hyperlinked.

  • I apply client-specific style rules alongside Chicago/AP or in-house guidelines. And I ensure consistent use of trademarks, product names, taglines, and legal language as required by brand standards.

  • I confirm the accuracy of data, dates, product claims, and URLs. I also ensure names, titles, and attributions are correct and current.

  • I review consistency in fonts, weights, sizes, spacing, and hierarchy and check for alignment issues.

  • I call out grammatical errors, syntax issues, and misused words according to the chosen style guide.

  • I ensure the correct and consistent use of hyphens, en dashes, and em dashes.

  • I test all hyperlinks for accuracy, functionality, and proper display format.
